1. Welcome
Thanks for reading this update from inframes.com, the company set up in 1999 by the two former senior SCOOT developers, Jon Ewing and Daniel Rosewarne.
A message from the editor:
I was going to say we've just celebrated two-and-a-half years in business
but to be honest, we've been too busy to celebrate. In fact, I only just
noticed that this not insignificant landmark has been and gone.
On April 8th, we should have been sinking a few jars in the Great
Expectations pub (conveniently located twenty feet below my desk), to
commemorate avoiding the bailiffs for 30 straight months. But we didn't.
To find out what we were actually doing, read on...
All the best
Jon Ewing

2. WTPS turns your email blue
We're delighted to say that within hours of launching the new, blue, HTML
version of the What The Papers Say mailout this morning, more than one in
ten subscribers has already switched from the plain text version. The new
look is not only smarter and more colourful but it has also been expanded to
include clickable newspaper headlines for all the top stories of the day.
Moreover, it has created new ADVERTISING OPPORTUNITIES. Get in touch if you
want your company to be among the first to benefit.
Take a look at What The Papers Say now!
3. Streamline - Content Management
Streamline is our unique content management system, originally designed for What The Papers Say, and
now available to license from inframes.com.
If your company needs to track site visitors, create a community of subscribers, add and modify content, add
interactive features and competitions, generate online sales and create genuinely useful demographic
statistics to help you target your users more effectively, then Streamline may be for you. Visit www.inframes.com or contact us for more information.
4. Freedomland Internet TV
Internet TV pioneers Freedomland are currently redeveloping their subscriber
portal site using our groundbreaking Streamline content management
technology.

5. CTMS
Congratulations to Creative Technology Management Solutions, our most recent
client, on a successful week at the Helpdesk Show, Olympia (April
23rd-25th). Find out what you missed by visiting: www.ctms-uk.com
6. Virtual Garden
We're sorry to see the end of beeb.com and trust that several of their
excellent sites - including Top Gear, Top of the Pops and Radio Times - will
still be going strong for years to come. Keep in touch, guys. In the
meantime, we're proud to have developed Virtual Garden - sequel to last
year's Virtual Plant - for the forthcoming Gardeners' World Chelsea Flower
Show mini-site, sponsored by Merrill Lynch Investment Managers. (Thanks to
everyone at Force Internet for helping out with the hosting).
7. Have your say on street crime
The current WTPS poll asks readers if they'd be prepared to defend
themselves in a mugging. So far 25.3% say "No, I'd be too afraid" while a
massive 74.7% say "Yes, I'd stand up for myself".
Influence the vote by visiting the WTPS homepage at: http://www.wtps.co.uk
8. Win Battle Spin Warriors and Strictly Sinatra Videos!
In the latest of our regular WTPS prize competitions, we're giving away a
fantastic prize for kids - this summer's hottest toy, Battle Spin Warriors. As if that wasn't enough, we've also got VHS copies of brilliant British crime flick Strictly Sinatra to give to five lucky winners.
As always, we're also on the hunt for great prizes to give away in the
future. If you've a new video, show, album, book or... well... just about
anything to publicise and are desperate to give away free copies, get in
touch with me at jon@inframes.com
9. Banner swaps
If you've got unsold banner space that you'd like to swap for coverage on the What The Papers Say website,
drop us a line at info@inframes.com. We accept 468x60 GIF banners
with a maximum 10k file size.
You can download our own WTPS banner here
